Thames Valley Police in Top 100 Employers for Apprenticeships 2023

Thames Valley Police (TVP) is celebrating after being recognised as a Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer in the Government’s annual listing for the second time in a row, ranking number 62.

The Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers helps future apprentices, parents, and careers advisers to identify good apprenticeship opportunities at the country’s leading employers. First launched in 2020, the annual employer rankings are developed by the Department of Education, in partnership with High Fliers Research, which independently assesses and ranks the nation’s top employers.

In order to fulfil the National Police Chiefs Council Policing (NPCC) Vision 2025, TVP embarked upon an ambitious plan to enhance the provision of apprenticeships across the force.

Since 2018, TVP has introduced three new apprenticeship programmes: Emergency Service Contact Handler, Police Community Support Officer, and the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship. We also have apprentices in a variety of staff roles and departments across the force.
