Thames Valley Police (TVP) hosts recruitment events throughout the year. Offering an excellent opportunity to explore the career opportunities available within our force, our TVP recruitment events allow you to meet our colleagues and learn about their roles.

Bucks Skills Show, Aylesbury on Wednesday 5th March - Thursday 6th March 2025

Location: Stoke Mandeville Stadium, Guttmann Road, Aylesbury, HP21 9PP

Time and date: Wednesday 5th March 9:00am -8:00pm and Thursday 6th March 9:00am – 3:30pm

Join us at the Bucks Skills Show 2025, where Thames Valley Police will be alongside over 120 other employers to showcase exciting career opportunities. Taking place at Stoke Mandeville Stadium on March 5th & 6th, this is your chance to meet our team and discover how a career with Thames Valley Police can offer you a fulfilling and impactful profession. Whether you’re considering a career in policing, seeking a fresh start, or exploring career paths across various industries, this event has something for everyone. Along with our recruitment team, you’ll have the opportunity to meet employers from sectors such as construction, digital technology, healthcare, creative industries, and more. Don’t miss the chance to speak with us, explore hands-on activities, and find out how you can unlock your potential with Thames Valley Police and other leading employers.

Careers Fest 2025, The Kassam Stadium on Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th March 2025

Location: The Kassam Stadium, Grenoble Road, Oxford, OX4 4XP

Time and date: Wednesday 19th 9:00 – 19:00 and Thursday 20th 9:00 – 14:50

Visit our stand at Careers Fest 2025 at Kassam Stadium, where students in Years 10-13 from schools and colleges across Oxfordshire will explore career options. Engage with our team to discover exciting career and training opportunities, and learn more about pathways in our field. With dedicated sessions for schools and a special twilight event for parents and carers, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore what we offer!

Types of events we support

We also take part in a variety of events, including school, college, and higher education career fairs, as well as local community events for those considering a career change. The support we offer varies depending on the purpose of your event. If you need assistance in a different capacity, please contact our recruitment events team to discuss tailored ways we can support you.
