New publication explores the future of tech in policing

Policing Tomorrow – a magazine focused on science and technology within policing – features an article from TVP’s own Assistant Chief Constable, Ben Snuggs, who also happens to be chair of the National Science and Innovation Board (NSIB).

Writing in the publication, ACC Snuggs discusses the work of the NSIB:

“NSIB presents an exciting opportunity to coordinate the great work already happening in forces. More effective coordination, support and awareness right across policing will help us reduce duplicated effort and make the most of the funding we have to make a difference. Through NSIB we have the best of opportunities to collaborate with talented colleagues in policing, other agencies and government to accelerate our science and innovation work and I am honoured to be its chair.”

The inaugural edition is available to read via Home | Policing Tomorrow (science.police.uk) and highlights many of the ways in which policing is looking to adapt to face the future challenges of law enforcement as we strive for continuous improvement.
