Meet Shikha – Cadet Leader

I have the privilege of serving as a Cadet Leader for Milton Keynes Local Command Unit (LCU) Cadets. This role has been an incredibly rewarding experience, allowing me to support and guide young cadets as they develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of policing.

My background as a Special Inspector for Milton Keynes LCU has been instrumental in shaping the sessions I lead. Bringing real-world insights and operational experience into the cadet program has helped create engaging, practical learning opportunities that bridge theory and practice. Watching cadets grow in knowledge and enthusiasm has been a highlight of my time in this role.

Being part of their journey and contributing to their development has reinforced the importance of mentorship and community engagement within policing. I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact and supporting the next generation of cadets.
